What would you like to see in the game?

K, I'm gonna type this up fast.
Lately, I've been adding a bunch of those neat features like the ban hammer, the examine feature, the clan chat, etc. But I haven't really gotten done what I really need to get done in order to get the game back up and populated, which is work on some new training areas, new npcs, new shops, etc.
This is my plan: I was going to absolutely delete all of the shops and training areas and make my own custom ones. This is where you guys come in. I need some ideas on what to add into the game. For right now, all I'm asking for is ideas for shops and training areas. What I mean by this is what items to go in the shops, which npcs to add into the game, where should those npcs be, stuff like that. Now, I'm not at the same level of programming as I was back a year ago. I can do a lot more neat things, so suggest some unique stuff too, some stuff you haven't really seen in any other servers.
Don't suggest things like custom items like dragon boots, godswords, skill capes, etc. Those won't be coming back as of right now. Also, don't suggest any minigames right now. The main priority at the moment is shops and training areas. I will eventually be adding in some cool minigames though.
Start suggesting!

The only customs I'm THINKING about adding are the skill capes. As for the godwars dungeon, that's not in the 317 client and would have to be a custom.

No custom items or areas. Elegant and god robes are customs, if I'm thinking of the correct god robes.

Like, give me an idea of a training area that you have pictured in your head that doesn't involve any custom items, npcs, or objects/areas.

A new training area would be cool, especially if you could code them to move around, different types also like dragons, those demon things that used to drop void, various npc's would be a hit

With training. On the All-Star base I liked training at ::slayer, but with Delta I know it is coded in with Npc's set as a task. So maybe make a whole different type of training with slayer. While doing slayer you also train combat stats. Which with RuneScape you train those stats as-well.
Mini-Games, I don't like the traditional Mini-Games. So making some new kinds of Mini-Games would be awesome. Some where you can earn PartyHats(As a rare prize) Or H'ween Masks. Maybe a skilling Mini-Game.
A Boss, I tried to push this on the All-Star base but it was never done.
Basically I want a boss where it absolutely takes a team to fight. And make it so weather they pray or not they still get hit. If that is too easy, make it so they have Minions who attack you as-well as the boss. So you will need a 5+ Man team. Doing this will bring people together. Like the Pest Control. You need a 4 man team at least, but it works a lot better if you have more. You can't do it on your own.
Also don't make the traditional training like All-Star. I never really liked that. Where the Npc's just stand there and you walk up and attack them. Do a verity of different Npc's. If you are at the normal training area the npc's should have low hp and do very little damage with minimal drops.
There should be Npc's there that are harder to kill. Those ones do more damage and have better drops. Maybe have them drop Fury's, D Chains, D Legs, ect.
As for shops. I believe the basics should be in there. I believe people should get majority of their items from other players, and Monster Drops.
That doesn't only make us a community of friends, but it gives that homey feeling. When you have shops where you can just buy everything. It doesn't support the community very much.
For shops Armour up to Rune
Basic skilling items
Basic Magic Runes/Robes
General Store, where you can sell items.

All of that can be done by me. But making the boss with the other little npcs attacking you will take a little more work, but I could probably do that.

I habe a fix, in jad, i think you should be able to have a team. Not just 1 person cause it takes Forever! well, when one dies, he can be revived, when both die it's over but its just to make it a little easier.

Possibly the best suggestion I've heard on this forums for a long time, you pretty much summed up what I wanted, but couldn't really find the words (nor could I be bothered to type it) to type it up, so I agree 100% with Kevin's post.

There won't be a skilling area like there used to be. Things will be spread a round a lot. For instance, you may be fletching, crafting, fm, cooking, alching all in the same bank. But to Woodcut, Runecraft, Agil, or even fish will all be spread around, you won't have one place so there is room for more people to go and it will reduce lag in a way. This will also give the feeling for the server being small. That feeling is better because it makes people feel closer to each-other. It will also create less conflict which is better for staff. If your woodcutting and someone starts fighting with you, there are plenty of places for you to go and woodcut.

What about a Holiday Item store?
A store that sells Scythes, Bunny ears, wooly hats and scarfs (all colors), marionettes, and other things like those.
Except the store should not (IMO) sell Party hats, H'ween masks, Christmas Crackers, disks of returning, pumpkins or Easter eggs.
But like only bring out a version of the store around a holiday, like for example Bunny ears and maybe a single scarf and hat on Easter.
For Halloween a different hat and scarf and also a Scythe.
For Christmas bring out a Christmas shop with Marionettes, the other two hats and other two scarfs.
Like A Holiday event in Runescape except a shop that sells the items.
My guess for prices would be around 50k-125k for a hat and 50k-150k for a scarf. (< this is assuming Money is hard to obtain otherwise 25m-30M EACH))
Bunny ears, Scythe and Marionettes would cost around 500k Each (< also assuming Money is hard to obtain, make it 75M-85M if money is not too hard to obtain).
Now the npcs to sell this stuff...
Easter bunny, Santa Claus, Grim reaper or maybe a Witch!
Also add a untradeable item that costs 1gp in the shop to show the player actually got it legitimately, instead of just went and bought one.
This way there is rares and a untradeable item to show when the player went to the shop.. Like have a list somewhere on forums telling players what untradeable item comes from what year.
I'm not sure about the untradeables though.
Well, just an idea of a holiday shop to act as a event for players to get cool items.
This way you have a somewhat holiday event you just add to the server then remove for the time being.
But just an idea.

I think that's a great idea.
I was also thinking about having like a shop based for Pkers, and it can have items like fighter torso, rune defender(if those aren't added yet, then forget the two), maybe dharoks, super potions, and maybe a pker setup in there, like rune armour, and a zerker helm. At the moment I can't think of anything else, but i'm sure that you'll be able to
.
You could spawn a dark mage (2262) maybe in the barber shop, and make him sell items similar to those.
